Collection: Beth Flynn

Beth Flynn’s interdisciplinary practice explores connections between body, landscape, and sensory experience through photography and sound. Guided by intuitive, moment-led responses, her work traces human experience through reciprocal connection with place. Shaped by her Deaf perspective and by a body relearning itself through illness, she channels these insights into her work, attuning to vibration, visual listening, and embodied awareness. Movement, gesture, and environment become forms of communication, translated into image, text, and sound. Rooted in the Welsh landscape, Flynn treats nature as a collaborator rather than a backdrop, creating work attentive to perception and the inseparability of body and land.
