Guided by the symbolic language of divination found in ancient Celtic art and poetry, I create large-scale archetypal paintings through the transformative power of fire. I make my own paint from natural materials such as pine resin, beeswax, stone, and earth. I douse the canvas with petrol and set it alight, allowing the unpredictable forces of nature to shape the work further. The process feels ritualistic, a collaboration with nature itself. Through cycles of destruction and creation, I explore death and rebirth as part of an ongoing journey of self-realisation, reflecting on themes drawn from Celtic mythology.
