Flowers, like human faces, are symmetrical, expressive, and fragile. I’m drawn to the connections between plants and people, and how they can shift into something humorous, strange, or quietly unsettling. Roots can mirror twisting intestines, and petals can warp into stretched, almost human features. Working with clay, a soft, flexible, and delicate material comparable to flowers and skin, I explore the moment where symmetry begins to unravel. My work lives in that space where beauty meets oddness. By embracing imperfection, I aim to reveal how both nature and humanity are both strange, resilient, and beautifully flawed.
